Oscar Hernandez is a prominent violinist, with a classic formation which combine with his sudamerican roots and broad knowledge on mexican music.
He began his musical studies at an early age thanks to the support of his father who was his first violin teacher.
Oscar, studied in Colombia, at the University of Antioquia, the state in which he was named as the greatest violinist of his age. Then in Venezuela at the conservatory of El Paraiso in Caracas under the tutelage of Professor Susan Siman pioneer of “EL SISTEMA” of Youth Symphony Orchestras in Venezuela, and later at the Conservatory José Luis Paz in Maracaibo , where he participated in the Latin American School of Violin directed by Maestro Del Castillo.
He Decide to come to the U.S. to study at the Julliard University under the tutelage of Professor Claudia Schare.
Oscar participated as a soloist in several concerts in different cities and countries.
A tall stepped international halls such as Carnegie Hall in New York City as first violin at the New Amsterdam Symphony Orchestra.
With popular and international music Hernandez has accompanied major American artists like Ricardo Montaner, Gilberto Santa Rosa, Ilan Chester and others.
Currently betting on his new solo project delighting his audience with the best classical music, popular and international interpreted by him on the violin.
